Incrocio Manzoni is a family of grape varietals named after Professor Luigi Manzoni of Italy’s oldest school of oenology located in Conegliano, in the Veneto region. Manzoni crossed the varieties by selecting, crossing and grafting wines from various vineyards during the 1930’s. The numbers 6.0.13 refer to the row, vine and vineyard for the original grafts. The 6.0.13 is a crossing of Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco. The result is a beautifully balanced dry white that is full-bodied with a lingering finish.
